HAT YAI TRIP FROM 15-18 JUNE
LONG POST,PICTURES SPAM

I do not want to divide into 2 entry because the archives will only show one long entry.
So I have decided to blog about all 4 days together with many pictures!
And you guys can stay in my blog longer as well to finish reading :) HAHA.
Sorry if the picture quality sucks because sony camera do not take good shots under low-light condition!
It turns out having a lot of grains.

I personally feel that this year's trip to hat yai is better than last year's bangkok trip.
Last year many things happened, got cheated many times.
But this year we met good people, the tour guide was nice.
He is efficient and he gave us the assurance that we can leave everything to him.
I like how confident he is and said : '' Leave everything to me ''.
The driver was good too, but we forgot to give him tips when we go to the airport.
He has been driving since 17yrs old, and now he is already 57yrs old.
Omg, for 40years? And is still counting.
He told us he started driving single till married, have 5 children and now his daughter is a doctor.

I think it is really fun to try to speak to people in hat yai(another city of Thailand).
I usually speak to them in english, some speak mandarin, and I also speak teochew!
Most of it is teochew though, a dialect language.
And the activities for the day is smooth-sailing.
Also, our hotel is good. Because we're on the same building in a shopping mall.
Meaning below our hotel is a shopping mall so whenever we took the lift to the ground floor.
We had macdonals, kfc, swensens, pizzahut, arcade, sizzler, etc.
And outside is full of push-cart stalls selling food, shirts, shoes, and it was usually very crowded.
Especially in the night.
Then walking a few steps, there were more stalls which means more street-shopping!
Next time we're gonna go another street to shop!! :D

Really miss the times spent with family during the trip for 4d3n.
It was really great, a total of 17 of us! A very big group.
Didn't took much pictures during the third and last day.
Quite wasted though. Hopefully, we'll have more overseas trip and I will take more pictures.
Wore a threadless tee on the first day and bought along blue, green and orange plain tee.
It looks nice without any design on it, I just want the colour to stand out :)

I love the never ending shopping everytime on the crowded streets.
I love how everytime I met singaporeans in a foreign country.
I love to buy what I want at a cheaper price and can still ask for a much lower price.
I love my yellow and sky blue bermudas.
I love how we always chill at macdonals with a total of 17 of us.
I love how I can have fried rice > pizza > swensens > french fries in one day without getting fat.
I love eating, ALOT.
I love my nano for accompanying me through long bus rides.
I love to have a sumptous breakfast everyday when I woke up without worrying about studies.
I love how we always get out of our room and everyone stand outside to talk and go to each other's room.
I love how we always have a gathering when all of our rooms are open, is like the whole level belong to us.
I love how we shouted ''huat ah! '' and applauded, cheered, the smiley faces after the fire crackers had finished burning.
I love how I can lie on bed after shower, watch random shows and fall asleep.
I love how I have aircon almost 24hrs. Van? aircon. Room? Aircon. Except for the shopping part, but i don't mind =P
I love my polo sport shirt, the best buy ever!!

NICE RIGHT I KNOW :D

So on the first day, reached budget terminal and had macdonal breakfast there.
Saw a super cute small boy with curly hair. He looked like a japanese/korea toodler.
I should have took out my camera and snap a pic of him!
Anyway I know this is random but I saw a guy which look like kenneth leong. Lol right!
Is like the way he speak and everything, his look and hair. He behaves like him!
He took the same flight as me, we saw each other at hat yai's shopping street, took the same flight back too.
Anyway, here are some of the pics taken before and during boarding. :)

MUM & DAD :)

In the bag claim international area at hat yai airport upon arrival, aunt lost her luggage.
The luggage contains my uncle, hers, 2 cousins belongings inside!
And aunt said she had expensive facial products as well.
It was careless that we left one luggage at the singapore's counter.
Sis used her blackberry to surf online and called budget terminal to ensure that the luggage is in Singapore.
Budget means budget, service sucks. Singapore airline is much better though.
So aunt and her family had to buy a new set of clothes to wear but it isn't a trouble at all.
Because it can be easily bought on the streets and shopping mall! Very nice design too :)
We were glad that everything is settled as she can collect her luggage when we return.
After that, checked in to hotel and had lunch!

After resting, we all went to have swensens ice cream.
Headed over to shopping mall and mum bought a polo sport slippers!
While crossing over, we saw a reallllyyyy cute puppy dog inside a car.
Also saw a nice wallet(black and blue, style design) but then I already had a leather billabong wallet.
So I had decided not to spend the money unnecessarily.
When I was looking at the long-sleeve clothes, the sales lady were TALKING AND TALKING.
Is like can't she leave me alone to look around?
Whenever I go she kept following me and persuade me to buy!! -.-'''
Got so pissed that I walked off. Extremely irriating.
Please, this is not customer service but is like chasing your customers away.

For dinner, we had it at regency hotel which is just opposite our own hotel.
I had fried rice and I'm missing it right now!
There is live band music in the night and the ambience was good.

After dinner, went for street-shopping, birdnest, massage at the hotel to end off the day. :D
Overall, first day was fruitful and I enjoyed myself.
For continuously 3 nights, mum and dad had massage.
You'll regret if you don't spend 1hr45mins to relax.
The massage lady all came to our hotel(we don't go to the shop).
I used to had massage last time in hatyai when I was young.

DAY 2

It was my favourite colour day!!
I wore a sky blue plain shirt with a blue bermudas. Totally blue :)
Breakfast buffet, activities for the day, shopping, eating, chilling, sleep.
I can tell you I keep eating and it just feels really great to EAT, EAT AND EAT.
Awesome max.
But I have no idea why my weight remains at 45kg.
Anyway, I had hot chocolate with noodles, fries, fried long beans, waffles, and many more!

After breakfast,it was followed by visiting temples and praying.
Went to high hills and mountains and had to climb up the stairs as well.
It was breath-taking to see the view of hat yai at the top.
Also, we went to put fire-crackers as well.
It was sooooo loud I got scared many times but it was super fun!
The cheering and clappings after the fire-crackers had finish burning.
And everyone wish for good luck and fortune, more wealth, shouting ''huat ah!'' with both hands rise up.

For lunch, we head to this place just beside a small village with a sea view.
It was good because the wind was strong at times.
We also went to pray the sleeping Buddha.

Returned back to hotel, rest and shower.
Then you know what? EATING AGAIN!! :)
Had spaghetti at pizza hut with a cup of mocha frappe. Taste heavenly.

Then we all went to tops market to buy lots of snacks back to Singapore!!
There's this potato chips with like seaweed flavour.
It taste just exactly like seaweed shaker fries in Singapore, just that it is chips.
Aunt swap the entire tray and buy nearly like 10 packets of the SAME snacks.
The tray was empty immediately after we left. Lol!!

After buying snacks from tops market, all 17 of us chill at macdonals.
It feels good because I like having many of people around me.
Even if it was just doing nothing but sitting down, talking about random things, laughing.
And uncle bought fruits from the stall outside and I had fries too!
Me and mum also went out to buy ''gueh''. Very different from Singapore.
We spent like about 2 hrs there and that probably sums up day two which is simple and warm. :)

DAY 3

Third day we spent almost the entire day praying as well. :)
Visited a very big cave with buddha statues inside.
It was very cooling and an eye opening experience.
Had more food as it was the last day!! Hahaha.
Also, went to one place but it suppose to be personal so I shall not blog about it here.

In pizza hut..
Me : '' large veggie pizza ''
Waiter : '' okay ''

A moment later..
Waiter : '' I'm sorry we don't have anymore large pan ''
me and sis : '' ?????? ''
WHY GOT LIKE THAT ONE PIZZA HUT NO LARGE PAN? IS LIKE HOW MANY CUSTOMERS THEY HAVE A DAY?
CONFIRM HAVE ONE LOR!!

One piece of pizza per person is definitely not enough for me ):
And we couldn't order 2 medium size pizza because we were close to broke.
We were left with very little amount of thai baht and we do not want to change anymore currency.

Hatyai127

For the last day, woke up early in the morning at 5am,
check in to the airport and board the plane at 8.30am.
Yes so that is the fourth day to Singapore!
Why can't the flight be at midnight or something then I can spend the last day at hat yai ):

FINALLY DONE.
